Gripset B26 Asphalt Crack Filler

Description

Gripset B26 is a cold applied alternative for crack sealing asphalt and bitumen surfaces. It possesses flexible and fast drying properties, enabling vehicular traffic after 15 minutes of application. In addition to the crack sealing properties, as a modified enhanced bitumen compound Gripset B26 is also a suitable protective coating or thixotropic bitumen paint for a wide range of substrates.

Application

Gripset B26 is suitable for commercial, industrial and civil applications.

Waterproofing Uses

• Asphalt road crack sealer, cold application without heating requirements
• Bitumen sealing compound for horizontal joints and gaps
• Sealer between old and new asphalt layers
• Waterproof seal in asphalt cracks
• Pourable joint filler on bitumen/asphalt surfaces
• Repair and filling of cracks before application of Elastorpoof Anti Reflective Cracking Membrane
• General sealing and prevention of water ingress into road cracks

Precautions

• Do not apply to areas when rain is imminent
• Not to be used as a sealant or filler over expansion or movement joints
• Do not apply when surface temperature is below 5oC or above 35oC.
• Not to be applied over glass or glazed surfaces
• Not to be used in areas where solvent or petroleum based products may be spilled
• Not to be used in areas subject to negative hydrostatic pressure
• Not to be used as a waterproof membrane in immersed areas. Refer to Gripset 51 or other Gripset membrane details
